Practical answers about reviewing resumes, possible manipulation warnings, pricing, and human-controlled decisions

General

fairsort helps businesses and teams hiring directly review AI-created and AI-enhanced resumes against the job requirements. It shows supporting evidence, groups applications by the strength of that evidence, and flags findings that may need closer review.

fairsort is for businesses and teams that hire directly, whether you recruit for one job occasionally or review large numbers of applications regularly. It helps you review resumes consistently without handing hiring decisions to an automated system.

No. fairsort is a focused resume review tool that works alongside your existing hiring process. You create a job, upload resumes, and review the evidence without setting up or replacing a full applicant tracking system.

No. fairsort groups applications and flags findings to support your review. It never automatically rejects a candidate or makes a hiring decision. You decide who to shortlist, reject, or review further.

How it works

Create a job, check the requirements and upload the resumes you want to review. fairsort then prepares the applications so you can review the evidence, add notes and build a shortlist.

fairsort supports common resume formats including PDF, Word, RTF, text and ODT files.

Each application is reviewed against the requirements for the job. fairsort groups candidates into Strong Match, Potential Match and Weak Match based on the evidence found. The grouping helps you decide where to start and does not make the hiring decision for you.

No. fairsort does not try to decide whether AI wrote a resume. It can flag possible attempts to influence automated evaluation, such as embedded instructions, prompt-like text, keyword stuffing, or obfuscation. A warning is not proof of AI use or intent, does not change the application's group, and never rejects a candidate.
